Dear Members,

1. New Director
In the AGM held March 16, Davis Leung of class 1979 is elected director of 
our Chapter to fill the seat vacated by Dave Wong of class 1967. Please join 
me to welcome Davis and thank Dave for the service rendered. I am looking 
forward to the energy brought by Davis to rejuvenate the Chapter.

2. Monthly Dim Sum Gathering
The regular monthly DS gathering falls on Good Friday April 6 - a public 
holiday. We are looking forward to a big crowd as many have expressed their 
intention to come. As there are many who have to observe Easter fasting, we 
have organized an additional gathering the following Friday April 13. So we 
are going to have two Dim Sum gathering this month. Both gatherings will be 
held at noon in Century Palace Restaurant. Please come join us for fun.

3. First Night Gathering in 2007 and open Board Meeting
Please note that the first open board meeting will be held April 19 in 
Century Palace Restaurant. You are welcome to attend the meeting and or the 
dinner afterwards. Meeting starts at 6:30pm and dinner starts at 7:30 pm. If 
you are coming, please email Bill Wong, our secretary, at 
billsh.wong@lscoba-edm.ab.ca so that he can reserve sufficient seats and food 
for you. Jimmy Chang of class 1966 will be flying in from Toronto to attend 
this dinner gathering. He may be bringing some good Chinese wine (liquor). 
Last time, he brought Gao Liang!!!

4. New School Principal
Please note that our alma mater has a new principal. Mr Wong Yen Kit, is our 
new principal. He has been acting principal since the departure of Dr. Paul 
Lau last summer.

5. AGM
The AGM on March 19 was well attended. 19 old boys attended the AGM. This is 
a recent high for attendance given our membership is only 44 and several 
members were out of town that week. I hope that we shall have more next year.
